This 6-night program allows you to discover the adventurous side of Costa Rica while exploring its spectacular beaches, enjoying some kayaking and white-water rafting, and also immersing yourself in the culture. You’ll also spend time in Tortuguero Beach where you may also spot the turtles nesting at the beaches.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to San Jose
- Meet and Greet at the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
- Meet one of our guides who will accompany you to your hotel.
- Transfer to the hotel in San José City.
- Overnight at Aurola Holiday Inn San José
Day 2: Tortuguero
- Early light breakfast at the hotel.
- Early pick up at the hotel’s reception and ground transfer to the Caribbean Side of Costa Rica.
- Enjoy a heartier delicious breakfast in Siquirres town at the Explorer Center and continue to Caño Blanco dock, where you’ll board a boat towards Tortuguero National Park.
- Check into your hotel in the afternoon.
- Enjoy a Tortuguero Village tour and explore this picturesque town, surrounded by jungles, rivers and beaches.
- Overnight at La Baula Lodge.
Day 3: Cahuita Beach
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Early morning exploration of the beautiful canals and discover the best of the local wildlife on a canoe tour.
- Return to the village towards Caño Blanco dock.
- Make a special stop for lunch at the Explorer Center and then transfer in your private vehicle towards Cahuita Beach.
- Arrival to Cahuita, known for its incredible beaches, great snorkeling and delicious local cuisine
- Overnight at Casa de Las Flores Hotel
Day 4: Cahuita Beach
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Day at leisure to explore the Village of Cahuita, where the Afro-Caribbean culture is present throughout. Enjoy time to explore the local beaches, savor some of the local specialties, or soak in its rich history.
- Overnight at Casa de Las Flores Hotel.
- Travel. Your Way! OPTIONAL Excursion is available today: the Cahuita National Park, which is not to be missed!
Day 5: Punta Uva-Cahuita Beach
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- This morning embark on a great adventure in Punta Uva onboard a Sea Kayak. This guided sea kayaking journey will follow a coast full of cliffs, caves, and one of the country’s most amazing rainforests.
- Then paddle your way upriver though the pristine rainforest where you will spot monkeys, sloths, colorful birds, river turtles, bats and iguanas.
- Return to the hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.
- Overnight at Casa de las Flores Hotel
Day 6: Pacuare River-San Jose
- Early light breakfast at the hotel.
- Early pick up at the hotel’s reception and for another day full of adventure.
- Arrive to the town of Siquirres and the Explorer Center and enjoy a heartier breakfast.
- Enjoy white water rafting (class 3-4) in one of the most popular rivers in the world, the Pacuare. This activity is great for the entire family!
- Arrival to San José City, enjoy your last night in town to explore this charming capital and its typical restaurants and shops.
- Overnight at Aurola Holiday Inn San José
Day 7: Departure Day
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Departure to the International Airport to take your flight back
