Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day
- Meet and Greet at the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
- Transfer to the hotel in San José City.
- Overnight at KC Sabana Hotel Boutique
Day 2: Irazu Volcano- Orosi Valley
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Pick up at the hotel’s reception to depart to your first volcano destination.
- This tour is the combination of a visit to the Irazú Volcano National Park (famous for its highest mountains and green colors) and a visit to The Orosí Valley & The Lankester Orchid Garden.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight at KC Sabana Hotel Boutique
Day 3: Cahuita Beach
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Early morning exploration of the beautiful canals and discover the best of the local wildlife on a canoe tour.
- Return to the village towards Caño Blanco dock.
- Make a special stop for lunch at the Explorer Center and then transfer in your private vehicle towards Cahuita Beach.
- Arrival to Cahuita, known for its incredible beaches, great snorkeling and delicious local cuisine
- Overnight at Casa de Las Flores Hotel
Day 4: Guanacaste- Rincon de la Vieja-Hot Springs
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Depart this morning for Guanacaste Province, with its beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean
- Today you will enjoy one of the highlights of Costa Rica: Rincon de la Vieja National Park.
- Arrival at the Lodge.
- Relax in the soothing Hot Springs or choose between a Canopy Adventure or Horseback Riding activities at the hotel.
- Overnight at Buena Vista Lodge.
Day 5: Tamarindo Beach
- After a delicious breakfast, depart for the Pacific Coast to reach Tamarindo Beach, a long/rocky beach where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the waves, which make this place a popular spot for surfers.
- Arrive at your hotel on the coast
- Time at leisure to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful local beach.
- Overnight at Hotel Pasatiempo.
Day 6: Tamarindo Beach
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning at leisure to enjoy your own time at the beach.
- Experience a wonderful afternoon on a Catamaran Adventure. You will be picked at the reception of the hotel. This daily sailing trip allow you to admire the local sea life of the Pacific. Observe sea turtles, manta rays and dolphins, and enjoy some time for snorkeling.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight at Hotel Pasatiempo
Day 7: San Jose
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning at leisure.
- After a leisurely morning make your way back towards Cosa Rica’s capital.
- You will have the opportunity to stop at scenic views, artisan shops or small towns en route.
- Arrival to the hotel.
- Enjoy your last evening in San Jose and take advantage of the typical restaurants and interesting shops along the historic center.
- Overnight at KC Sabana Hotel Boutique
Day 8: Departure Day
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport to take your flight back home
